We've created a handy list of padel rules to help get you started.

To book courts at The Padel Club NZ, you will need to download our app from the app store (IOS or Android), or create a profile through the booking webpage

We are committed to introducing as many new players to Padel as possible, which is why our courts will always be open to everyone on a pay-to-play basis (with no membership required).

Yes, we will have rental rackets available in the shop. Balls can only be purchased from the club, not rented.

If you book an activity / social session or a private lesson however, we will provide you with both a racket and balls.

First, we recommend booking onto an Intro to Padel session. Then, you should join our beginners’ socials where you can play with other beginners and practise playing in non-competitive match situations! You will find all available courses on the ‘Activities' section on the app.

 If you don’t have anyone to play with, then no worries at all, you have a couple of options:

• Come to a social mix in session at The Padel Club NZ, book under the 'Activities' section, this will be a great opportunity for you to meet fellow Padel players.
• Either create or join an open match under the 'Book a match' section. Here you can create an open match, and other players of a similar level will be able to book onto the match with you. You will be also be able to chat with these players before the game via the online chat. 
• Join The Padel Club NZ WhatsApp Group and communicate with players. 

• Booking a court: This is for when you know who you want to play with and want to book the entire court. You can also add your friends onto this booking to share the cost, or you can pay for the whole court yourself. (Please be aware that if you do add other players to the booking, they will need to go to the 'schedule' area on the app and pay for their proportion of the booking, prior to the bookings start time, otherwise the lead booker will be responsible for paying for the outstanding payments)

• Booking an open match: This is for people who do not already have three other players to play with. You can either join an existing open match or create a new one for other players to join. In an open match you can just book yourself into one team, choose  your position and  the level of the other players you want to play with (this allows you to play other players of a similar ability). Alternatively you can choose 'all levels'. Once you have created the open match, you can share this via our Whatsapp groups or challenge other  players via the app. Once three other players have booked onto the open match, the match will be confirmed! You can choose for the open match to 'apply to rankings', which means the result will directly effect your Padel Level score on your player profile.

Padel is usually played in 60 or 90 minute sessions. Information on pricing can be found here

Yes we have unisex toilets which can also be used for getting changed as well as a shower onsite.
